Creager House was built in 1935 by an oil-boom banker. It is 3 miles off I-20 between Fort Worth and Abilene. It is on the main rail line between Fort Worth / Dallas & Abilene (It has been attempted to divert commuter service to the metroplex). It is close (4miles) to Lake Leon & 25-35 miles to Lake Hubbard, Polo Pinto Lake, and Possum Kingdom Lake. It is in an excellent hunting area having an abundance of dove, deer, and some turkeys.
